Services in Denver

At Central Executive it is our mission to provide all of Denver and the Front Range a full suite of services to ensure that we provide all of our clients a one-stop solution when it comes to structured cabling or low-voltage wiring services and needs.  By providing as many solutions under one roof, we can offer you and your business economies of scale that others cannot.  Our intention is not to become niche specialists but specialists in all facets of structured cabling as the related technologies continue to advance.

As more and more technoglies convert to IP-based solutions, requiring ethernet cabling versus older coaxial or less dynamic, copper cabling solutions, we strive to stay ahead of the curve.  A prime example of this this migration are security cameras systems.  Where they once required older, RG-59 coaxial cable and a separate, copper cable for power, today's IP-based security camera solutions require moden, ethernet cabling providing each security camera power and more bandwidth for greater picture resolution.  We're currently seeing that same migration happen in the Access Control space and we're happy to be a part of that transition.

Our key services to all commerical business or new-build projects in the metro Denver area include the following:

Network or Data Cabling

Through the use of different types of cabling and wiring, most commonly ethernet cabling, we offer structured cabling design and installation to support data networks in data centers, offices and multi-family dwellings for data or voice communications. Most commonly the type of cable used is category 5e (Cat 5e), category 6 (Cat 6) and fiber optic cabling. The combination of these types of cabling allow for infrastructure from the hardware rack. These standards define how to lay the cabling in various topologies in order to meet the needs of the customer, typically using a central patch panel (which is normally 19-inch rack-mounted), from where each modular connection can be used as needed. Each outlet is then patched into a network switch (normally also rack-mounted) for network use or into an IP or PBX (private branch exchange) telephone system patch panel.

Lines patched as data ports into a network switch require simple straight-through patch cables at each end to connect a computer. Voice patches to PBXs in most countries require an adapter at the remote end to translate the configuration on 8P8C modular connectors into the local standard telephone wall socket. No adapter is needed in North America as the 6P2C and 6P4C plugs most commonly used with RJ11 and RJ14 telephone connections are physically and electrically compatible with the larger 8P8C socket.[a] RJ25 and RJ61 connections are physically but not electrically compatible, and cannot be used. In the United Kingdom, an adapter must be present at the remote end as the 6-pin BT socket is physically incompatible with 8P8C.

It is common to color-code patch panel cables to identify the type of connection, though structured cabling standards do not require it except in the demarcation wall field.[specify]

Cabling standards require that all eight conductors in Cat 5e/6/6A cable be connected.

IP phone systems can run the telephone and the computer on the same wires, eliminating the need for separate phone wiring.

Regardless of copper cable type (Cat 5e/6/6A), the maximum distance is 90 m for the permanent link installation, plus an allowance for a combined 10 m of patch cords at the ends.

Cat 5e and Cat 6 can both effectively run power over Ethernet (PoE) applications up to 90 m. However, due to greater power dissipation in Cat 5e cable, performance and power efficiency are higher when Cat 6A cabling is used to power and connect to PoE devices.[1]

  • IP Security Camera System Sales & Installation - Cabling, mounting and positioning of all IP-based security cameras.  Installation of your security camera system's NVR (Network Video Recorder) and connectivity of your NVR to your local network.  We are able to provde and install many types of security cameras (indoor or outdoor, dome or bullet, PTZ-Point, Tilt, Zoom) based on your scope of work, your preferred manufacturer, your desired camera resolution and, most importantly, your budget.  All structured, ethernet cabling to your IP security cameras is certified and properly labeled.
  • Access Control System Design & Installation - Design, installation and programming of all access control hardware, power to support your system as well as the appropriate locking mechanisms (mag-lock, eletrified hinge, eletrified handles) for each door.  We will work with your design team to ensure compliance with means of egress regulations as well as fire safety bypass requirements while handling all permitting and scheduling any inspections required for occupancy.
  • Wireless Network Cabling & Implementation - Installation of all necessary ethernet cabling to each Wireless Access Point (WAP) location as determined by your scope.  All data cabling will be hung to code, labeled, terminated and tested.  We also securely mount all WAPs in their designated areas to ensure proper, wireless coverage throughout your establishment.  Lastly, if needed, we can handle the administrative setup process for your wirless network, both public and private, to keep your local network safe while providing complimentary access to patrons, residents and guests.
  • Fiber-Optic Cabling for Networks & Connectivity - Installation, termination and certification of all fiber-optic cabling.  We provide your business or facility with the required cable type, based on use.  We provide single-mode and multi-mode, the exact core measurement (in microns) needed, the required OM (Optical Mode) type as well as protection for your delicate fiber-optic cabling (armoured, innerduct).
  • Audio-Visual System Design & Installation - Design, cabling and installation of audio systems, paging system, white-noise systems as well as wall mounting for televisions of all sizes and setup of video conferencing network hardware.

If you need assistance with any of the services mentioned above, or those that we may not have listed, please feel free to reach out so we can figure out how best to provide solutions to your requirements that will ensure a timely, professional and cost-effecive outcome.  Thank you and we hope to here from you soon.
